The Heart of BeTheBall.Pro
For as long as I can remember, sports, competition, and community have been at the center of my life. I picked up my first golf club at age seven at Navesink Country Club in New Jersey and have spent decades playing, teaching, competing, organizing events, and helping others enjoy the game.
Growing up in Rumson, New Jersey, I became the first girl to play on the boys’ golf team at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School and later the first woman to play on the men’s golf team at Brookdale College. Along the way, I competed throughout New Jersey, the Northeast, and New England, including winning the New Jersey Metropolitan Interclub Championship.
Through those experiences, I recognized something missing in Southern Maine: a year-round place where people can learn, play, stay active, and connect with others.
That realization became the inspiration for BeTheBall.Pro LLC.
My vision is bigger than golf. I envision a welcoming recreation and community facility where instruction, technology, hospitality, wellness, and recreation come together under one roof.
At the heart of that vision is The Club House.
The Club House is designed to be a gathering place for golfers, families, friends, and neighbors. A place where people can improve their game, enjoy recreational activities, attend events, meet new people, and feel part of a supportive community.
BeTheBall.Pro is about creating opportunities to learn, play, connect, and belong throughout the year. It is a vision for recreation, wellness, and community that will serve Southern Maine for generations to come.

For as long as I can remember, golf has been at the center of my life
Golf has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
From my first days on the course as a young girl in New Jersey to decades of playing, teaching, competing, and working in the game, golf has given me friendships, opportunities, challenges, and some of the greatest experiences of my life.
Over the years, I began to notice something missing here in Maine.
For a state with so many golfers and such a strong outdoor culture, there are very few opportunities to play, practice, learn, and improve year-round. Too many golfers put their clubs away in October and don’t pick them up again until spring.
I believe golf should be available to everyone, whether you’re picking up a club for the first time, working to break 100, competing in tournaments, or simply looking for a place to spend time with friends and family.
That belief became the inspiration behind BeTheBall.Pro.
My vision is to create a place where golfers can practice and play year-round, regardless of the weather. A place where technology, instruction, recreation, and community come together. A place where you can hit balls on a summer evening, work on your game during a snowstorm, take a lesson in January, or simply stop by to enjoy the atmosphere.
BeTheBall.Pro is more than a place to practice golf. It’s a place to meet, greet, have fun, hit some balls, spend time with friends, and be part of a welcoming community. Whether you’re a beginner, a seasoned player, or someone who simply enjoys being around the game, there will be something here for everyone.
Most importantly, I want to create a place where people feel welcome the moment they arrive.
